Aquanaut Voyage – Manila Ocean Park 1.02.2013

This Aquanaut Voyage is an underwater adventure and one of the most expensive attraction at Manila Ocean Park. This fascinating, awe-inspiring, one-of-a-kind experience brought us to a rare, up-close encounter of marine life under the sea.

Dive and interact with 5,000 fishes and stingrays in the Oceanarium’s largest aquarium. This is very unique diving because we use a special helmet that let us breathe freely and makes underwater walking possible.

Anyone above five feet (5 ft) tall with medium body built is qualified. Aquanaut Voyage is not recommended for those with heart or lung problems, pregnant, asthma and other respiratory ailments, neck trouble and/or surgery and even those who are claustrophobic. A wet suit, aqua shoes, and gloves will be made available to guests before diving. Also, guests will have to sign a waiver before the actual dive.

We are inside the very big aquarium with 12ft depth …they call it Oceanarium 🙂

Enchanted Kingdom

A magical experience for everyone! I’ve just realized, I need to blog it…’twas last year, August 27, 2011, my post-20th birthday celebration. I know some were asking how to get there. So, this is how we went there. From LRT Buendia Staion @Pasay,  we took the JAC Liner bus with Balibago route, then asked the driver to drop us off to Balibago Waltermart. From there, we took a tricycle going to Enchanted Kingdom. Average travel time is 1:30hrs.

We all know that August is still a rainy season in the Philippines, so Happy Rainy Birthday to me! 🙂

I think, rainy day is better than sunny day because you won’t feel hot especially when you get tired of the rides…

Picture-picture first in front of Grand Carousel and Boulderville where you can find most of the kiddie rides…. !

For our first ride, it’s the FLYING FIESTA! That’s a swing ride that gradually increases the speed of rotation and tilts, creating a wave-like motion.

We don’t wanna waste our time so we hurried to the most unique roller coaster, the SPACE SHUTTLE! A 2-minute ride that will surely drive you crazy!

After the head-on thrilling adventure, we relaxed ourselves to WHEEL OF FATE…a very big Ferris wheel.

We chose our priority rides, so JUNGLE LOG JAM is next on the list…

Aside from the rain, this water ride which took us up hills, down ramps, then splashed into the water, definitely made us wet. So if you’re also planning to ride here, make sure you have extra clothes or else, you’ll go home WET! 🙂

Sorry, but I don’t remember anymore this part of Enchanted Kingdom 😦 I just want to post it.. that looks good though we’re too wet…

ROLLER SKATER, a mini roller coaster… haha! Sorry for the picture 🙂 ..just a name.. but we tried it and it’s just so funny!

Night @PORTABELLO…

Another relaxation, but this time, we’re at UP, UP, AND AWAY!

Others call it Bumping cars but that’s EK’s Midway Boardwalk DODGEM… An exciting ride that will hurt you a little when you bump to other cars when you’re not ready… haha!

We also tried the ANCHOR’S AWAY but unfortunately, ’twas the only picture we have had… seems like we’re not on the ride 😦

Our last is RIALTO where you can just sit and relax.. though it’s almost the same to a 3D movie… the chairs were moving as if you’re there, part of the movie “Happy Feet” ….

What made it more special were the fire works every 8:30pm, for the closing part of Enchanted Kingdom experience… Hahaha! Camera wasn’t good enough..

All in all, this magical experience is sooooo great! I love it! ❤
